Poster and talk abstracts are invited through January for the 2026 annual meeting. We welcome submissions from academic labs, clinical groups, biotech teams, and independent practitioners who want to share methods that others can actually run.
Preference is given to reproducible workflows, shared data resources, and teaching materials that other labs can adopt without proprietary lock-in. Submissions may cover methods, tooling, clinical applications, or community infrastructure, and authors can indicate whether they prefer a short talk or poster. Abstracts should state the problem, approach, evidence of reuse, and any limitations reviewers should weigh.
Reviewers will prioritize clarity, open artifacts, and relevance to practicing bioinformaticians. Supplementary links to repositories, protocols, or reference cards are encouraged and will be linked from the program once talks are accepted. Notification of acceptance is expected in early spring, with camera-ready updates due several weeks before the meeting.
Members who are unsure whether a project fits can browse last year’s themes or ask an editor for a quick fit check. Travel awards and childcare stipends will be announced alongside acceptance letters so presenters can plan early.
