  • Microarrays
  • Microarrays are an oligonucleotide probe based technology designed to query genes, SNPs and CNVs in samples, amongst other things. Probes bound to a surface hybridize to their intended targets to confirm or refute the existance of the modality of interest. The typical experiment creates a spotted image which is then processed to create a summary of targets and their intended scores or presence/absence call.

    Innovagene relies on internally developed workflows to analyze vast amounts of microarray data. We perform image processing algorithms and statistical analysis on resulting data to uncover biomarkers and signatures that are relevant for driving sample states. Some of our processes include normalization, transformation, clustering and enrichment analysis.

  • DNA Sequencing
  • With the advent of genome sequencing technologies that produce vast amounts of data, the problem of data management as well as analysis now requires special tools and processes. We use both open source and commercial tools to solve challenges in the NGS space.

  • Metabolomics is a high throughput technology that uses High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to measure the abundance of metabolites in a sample of interest, and then study chemical processes that metabolites affect. The goal is to understand the role of these metabolies, identify patterns or signatures for diagnostics use.

We perform statistical analysis on resulting data to uncover biomarkers and signatures that are relevant for driving sample states.   • MALDI-TOF Proteomics
  • Proteomics is a high throughput technology that uses Mass Spectrometry to measure the abundance of proteins in a sample of interest, and then study biochemical processes that proteins affect. The goal is to understand the role of these proteins or their chemical modifications (such as phosphorylation, ubiquination, methylation, etc) to identify patterns or signatures for diagnostics use.
